Broadway Pizza

CC tagged me with this "Favourite Food In Your State or Country" meme. I was thinking of writing a post of Kolo Mee in Sarawak but then, I changed my mind to pizza since I am in Perth at the moment.

Menu written with colourful chalks.

Broadway Pizza is another famous place for the students at The University of Western Australia (UWA) to get their pizza after Domino's Pizza.

Only two tables in a shop.

The shop is at walking distance from the uni and is opened till late. That's why Broadway Pizza is famous among the hungry students who stay up late in the uni.

Small, large or family?

Broadway Pizza serves three different sizes of pizza; small 10”, large 13” and family 15”. Depends on the pizza you ordered, normally one small pizza costs you Aud$8.90 while the large and family pizza costs you Aud$14.90 and Aud$17.90 respectively. However, UWA students only need to flash their guild sticker in order to get a discount for a large pizza.

Capsicum, sliced tomato and jalapeƱo peppers, cheese etc.

Ham, bacon, mushroom and pepperoni.

Either you choose your favourite pizza on the menu, or tell them what you’d like and they’ll make it for you!

Look at those fast moving hands...

I think it's not difficult at all to make pizza. Basically, you just need to mix all the ingredients on top of the pastry before it goes into the oven.

Yan, the pizza boy.

By the way, did I tell you the pizza boy is my friend, Yan? Yea, this place does not only offer high quality pizza, but they also provide opportunities for the students to work part time. Be it a driver post, or the pizza boy post. ;)

The secret recipe.

I think the secret behind all those nice pizza is these dough. Pizza Hut? Domino's? Forget about it. But of course, you'll have to pay slightly more for delicious pizza. ;)

Before...

After...

Like I mentioned earlier, after you have done with the toppings, just send the pizza to the oven. And I think this "oven" is a bit interesting. It goes in raw from one side, and it comes out cooked on the other side.

Large pizza.

No doubt, Broadway Pizza is one of the best places to get hot and fresh pizza in Perth. The pizza is definitely worth every single cents you pay. :)

P/s: Jono, Pizza King also good lah. Bring me there! :P

KOK, why Yan didn't put on the gloves while making the pizza? And here I thought mat sallehs are very particular where hygiene is concerned! You know ah, when they're here, they critise the way we prepare our food. Ahhhhla...sama sama juga!

BTW, where's my soup ah? So longing for the lotus root that I went over to WMW's and drank from there oledi! mmm.....slurrr...p...

Same question as ilene, why the guy was not wearing glove? Not very hygienic ler. Haha.
I love pizzas! Thanks for doing the tag! :)

firehorse: Thank you!:) haha! How's the pizza in U.S. ah? Nice?

mum in miri: You had pizza at Pizza Hut? What's the newest pizza? I remember they always come out with NEW FLAVOUR pizza. haha!

Ermm... any food you think it's nice in Miri. I'm sure you have some food which you like more eh?:P

yenjai: Eh, don't pengsan. You doctor cannot pengsan. If not, I cannot help you lah. haha!

Aiks? Never mind. If you don't want to do the tag, just leave it. I just want to know what kind of food does a doctor like. :P

joe: Nolah, actually got some cheap pizza. Large Domino's pizza I can get it for only Aud$6.

Don't worry about it. Like I told Yenjai, if you don't feel like doing it, just leave this tag alone. No pressure. :)

ilene: Yea, Mat Salleh really care about hygiene here. I also don't know why Yan didn't wear gloves leh. Maybe that's why, the pizza taste so much better eh?:P

Your lotus soup ah? I thought I bring it over to your blog liao? No meh? hehe.

cc: Aiyo, he got wash hand before he works with the pizza ma. If really not hygienic, those roti canai stalls in Malaysia already bankrupt loh. haha!

No worries. This tag is easy. hehe.

cllaw: Yea, ADD INGREDIENTS!:p

okok...will work on that food tagging in few days time...haha...let me figure out wat i like first...i got thousand things in my mind now...

I like seafood pizza best with crabmeat, scallops and shrimps (never mind the cholestrol!).

Kok said...

mum in miri: I also heard that Pizza Haven is better than Pizza Hut. Hmm... Normally when I go back Miri, I don't eat pizza. One is because I had too much in Perth. Two is because it's so expensive in Miri (no conversion). And three is because I think Perth pizza is better. haha:P

xiu long bao: Aiyo, stay in guai lou country must choose guai lo food ma. haha!

Don't worry. No pressure. Only work on the tag when you feel like it. :)

wonda: I never have seafood pizza before. Mainly because there's an extra surcharge on seafood pizza. haha! Aiyo, must jaga your cholestrol lah. :P
