Anjung Perdana Tanjung Aru, Sabah

Finally, I managed to write about my Sabah food's post. It has been left there for quite a while, I know. Anyway, I'll try to update everything as soon as possible. :)

Anjung Perdana Tanjung Aru.

My first stop for food in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is Anjung Perdana Tanjung Aru. Honestly, this place is not foreign to me anymore. Almost every time I visited Sabah, this place would never be missed.

So much fruits!

"Stall number 6", Allen instructed both Lik Jie and I. Aiya, he seems like the local Sabahan already. He knows which stall is the best lah. Haha!

That's actually a stall which sells different kind of drinks. Most of the drinks involve fruits. Just look at the photo...

ABC Special for me.

Don't-know-what-name-drink for Lik Jie.

Each of us ordered a bowl of ABC (Air Batu Campur which means ice mixed). Gosh, one bowl of ABC was so huge! For only RM3-4.50 each, I almost couldn't finish mine.

There are loads of varieties for this ABC at this stall but one bowl normally consists of fruits (lots of fruits!), jelly, cincau (grass jelly), chendol and of course, ice! A scoop of ice cream is optional but I doubt you can finish everything. Sharing is caring in this situation. ;)

Keropok Lekor.

Allen ordered this Keropok Lekor as snack. Too bad it didn't taste as nice as it looks. Maybe it wasn't serve hot, that's why it only taste a bit chewy instead of crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside.

Lamb Satay.

As we didn't have our lunch during our 8 hours ride to Sabah, Allen decided to order ten sticks of lamb satay. Although the meat was lean and tender, I must say the meat wrapping the bamboo stick was so pathetic. I was disappointed...

In case anyone is interested to visit this food court, I strongly recommend the fruit stalls just beside this food court. Try their prickled mangoes and jambu batu (guava) and I'm sure you all would come back for more. :)

P/s: I forgot to mention that the fruit juice at the drink stalls is a must-try too! It is cheap with gigantic portion/glass!
