Kokadoodle in German?

Before I proceed further, take a look at this two print screen.

Look familiar?

How about this?

Do they look familiar to you?

Yes! This is my previous post, Melbourne Day 3! The only difference is, it's all written in German! I got this from a blog and I have no idea why is this guy copy every single stuff of that post and translate it into German. I mean, I don't mind to let you copy, but please plagarise it "professionally"! This is like using Google Translator and translate the whole post into German and post it. What the heck?

I'm not angry actually. Looking at it positively, it's a sign that my blog is getting popular (I know it's not :P). I won't post up the link of that blog since it'll just make the guy has his mission accomplished; get a link back to his blog.

Now, how would you feel when someone actually copy your post? Would you feel the same as me?

Wahliao....Kok, how can you just let this happen and sit still.

Did you download the photos from your website photo? If so, go and play a trick on him and delete those photos and download yours from another place. There is a way of doing it and I am sure you know without me teaching you.

Don't let him get the better of you and sit and do nothing!!
Listen to this grandmother!!

Beh tahan lah...eh what is the blog address. Let me go and have a look and hentam this plagiarist!

What he is doing is illegal. The photos even has your signature on it. Eh how did you find out in the first place?

Shionge said...

This is terrible Kok and he has the guts to copy your photos too? Hmm...I think I better have my mark too :(

Sorry pal!

It is so freaking scary! How did you find out about this? I remember DQ's blog was once plagiarised too. I am starting to suspect could it have been a robot doing all these?

I agree with Judy.
Swab the photo, probably with "look, back off" wordings :P

But think of it from another angle.
You are in the same league with famous writers!
Your work are being translated into multiple languages. Wow. Envy you

Aunty Judy: It's alright lah. There's nothing much I can do.

I didn't upload my photos into website. I only upload it to my bloggers. So, I don't think I can do anything. Maybe, I can report it to blogger? I don't know leh.

The blog address? I'll send it to you if you would like to take a look of that. Apparently, he's taking everyone's post and then re-post it. The title of it's blog is, "Tourism Industry".

Ermmm, but how to use law to deal with him? Internet is the hardest thing to deal with.

You can find someone who link you by going to www.technorati.com . I found it out from there.

shionge: Anything can happen in the internet. Even the singers and actors are having big time after their songs and movies are being spreaded out. Nothing much can be done, really.

No worries at all. :)

lynnx: You can check out at www.technorati.com . I mean, who link to you. That guy put a link of my blog there, so, I manage to track him. I don't think there's a robot doing this. hehe.

yenjai: I'm using blogger to upload my photos. So, couldn't do anything more I guess.

Yea, someone actually bother enough to copy and translate my post! haha!

Hey kok, you should try to get someone to translate the german for you and see what he is writing. Maybe he is writing something thats not nice...

MIM said...

Hee Hee Hee I would feel quite honoured :) but then it hasn't happened to me and I may feel differently then.

Dalicia said...

i'm laughing so loud. the person even put your friends name! at least be creative....ahaha...it's more like copycat.

as i was reading in german. he's a native german speaker. google translator doesn't do a good job translating :P i don't think it's right for him to do that. later, he'll steal your identity :P

call himself...the german cock?
ahhaahahhaha

Welcome to the club - the one that people find so interesting they want to plagiarise! Haha! :D

Kok said...

elizabeth: I've asked Carrots to read it and apparently, she said it's just direct translation for my post. I think he copied a lots of posts from other blogs as well.

muminmiri: I feel quite proud too! Got people copy and translate my post wor! haha!

dalicia: Yaya, he copied every single stuff! Sigh... That's why I said, if wanna copy, copy "PROFESSIONALLY"! Stupiak people.

Oh? So, he's actually writing everything not using translator? Nah, I don't think he'll steal my identity. I browse his blog and he seems like copy other posts from other blogs as well. Do you wanna take a look at the blog?

Hahaha! German Cock? You think he deserve the title? kekekeke!

dancing queen: I don't mind letting people plagarise lah. Just that, please inform. :P

carr0ts said...

dalicia,
native speaker? no kidding.. I can spot the grammatical errors, and I'm not even a native speaker. That's why I told Kok that I'm quite sure it's a translator.

for e.g., what the heck is this??!?
"Es snowing ziemlich schwer."

Snowing is an ENGLISH word.

Bengbeng said...

leave it be. there's nothing u can do about it :)

but that blogger is really too much!

Chen said...

wah.. teruk lah this guy. plagiarise and copy bulat-bulat.

eastcoastlife said...

I think this is the same guy who also translated my post on travel. It is a scam site. When I asked my friends to click on the link, it directs them to another site.

I have a few of my posts plagiarised by other bloggers. They copy everything and paste it onto their blog. Some do give me the credit.

Even though I have put up that I own the copyright to my posts, others still copy. Treat me like dead. There's nothing one can do. grrr.....

Dalicia said...

carrot: i don't know much german. his words are very simple. i understood what he wrote so i didn't use a translator software. but those aren't accurate either! best is to ask the person :)

it's a trend this days to put english words into another language. i haven't tried translating his words with a translator.

worst thing that a person can do is. use the original language and translate back into english. which don't even make sense! this is something that i do with some friends.
it could lead to some confusion to other ppl.

Judy said...

Oh by the way Kok, I copied your photo from facebook to put on my blog .... ehehehehe...and another time I copied your photo when you were at the wine cellar to give you an award.

I am a plagiarist!! Sure kena already! :P

oh well u dunno whether to laugh or cry..on 1 side ur post is worth plagarising and the other side u can actually sell this instead of letting him take it for free..

jane said...

hey i got mine translated on a page too.. not sure german or what lah. seems sth more spanish. haha cool eh.

WokandSpoon said...

OMG! That's terrible! Did you leave a message in his comments saying that he or she completely plagiarised your work! Hey - ask Argus World (http://argusworld.blogspot.com/) to have a look at the site - I think she speaks fluent German.

Kok said...

carrots: hehe. Ini aku tak tahu lah. Can try ask your lecturer?:P

Uncle Beng Beng: Yea, I don't think I can do much thing bout that. Just let it be...

chen: I think he's just trying to make his blog "popular" for advert.

eastcoastlife: Wah, your posts were also copied by others? Hmm... I think this is just internet. Like mp3 and movie. Can you do anything to stop them from spreading through the net? I doubt so...

dahlicia: Wow, you and carrots can become German teacher liao. kekeke.

Aunty Judy: If you don't mind, just send Aud$1 million for copyright fees. haha! Don't worry. For you, feel free to take it. :)

firehorse: Thanks a lot, firehorse. *hugs*

sasha: I've already translated it and it's just direct translation. And most of the words are wrongly translate or are German words like that? Hm...

joe: I don't know how to contact that guy and asked him to either take off the post or pay me. He doesn't have a contact details anywhere.

jane: Yours also kena? Where where?

wokandspoon: I don't think he/she will even care about it even if I leave a comment. If he/she knew it was wrong from the beginning, he/she wouldn't even publish it...

Sue Sue said...

Hey, how you get to know that your blog has been copied? You didnt hentam that fellow kau-kau meh.

wmw said...

Well, after it's translated...see whether he has actually mentioned you and your blog...at least he never go edit your photos and put his face there. LOL!!!!

carr0ts said...

kok,
no need to ask because there's a word for snowing which they use. whatever it is, it's those grammar mistakes and wrong vocab that gives it away. it's definitely not a person; it's a translator software.

I'm not quite sure, but somehow i have a feeling that it's not a person behind this. maybe you can ask billy to find out...

BlurMommy said...

Yikes! Can u report to his host or something? Maybe spam his email or comment till he takes it down?? Too bad u cannot replace the photo. :P

Kok said...

sue: You can know who links to you through www.technorati.com

Hentam? No need lah. Waste time only. You say, he ignore. Like that how?

wmw: He actually "link" to me. That's why I can trace him. Yaloh, lucky he no cut my face then post on the male porn star's body. hahaha!

carrots: Don't worry about that. I don't think I wanna find out who's that person. Anyway, free advertising mah. kekeke.

blurmommy: Ermm...if he has the intention to put it up, he can still put it somewhere after I report to his host. So, never mind lah. Just let it be...
