Leaving Perth For Miri

After four hectic months, I'm ready for Miri again.

Perth International Airport.

Duty free liquour.

Since nobody could send me to airport that day, I had to spend a night with Zhungyi (don't get it wrong, different room!) cause he's with the same flight as me. Thanks to Chris who fetched me to Zhungyi's house. I was super tired that day cause I slept at 4a.m.

Tag Heuer, I want.

Last minute shopping?

Zhungyi and I reached the airport 2 hours earlier. Thanks to Chau Meng who woke up early to fetch us to airport. :) We can do nothing in the airport. Zhungyi sit there and rest while I wondered around for photos.

Soccer-roooossss.

Cowboy hats.

How come two hours seem so long that day? I was exhausted. Sleep was the only thing that appeared in my mind.

Perfume on sale.

Which one you want?

Huge Toblerone.

I was so desperate to get into the plane. Give me a break!

Qantas.

Cathay Pacific.

BI 0066, Royal Brunei Airline. Let me get in!

Sayonara Perth.

After 2 hours of waiting, finally, we were called on board.

Brunei, 12:40 p.m., Gate 2.

Gate 2, here I come!

From Perth to Brunei, it will be 5 hours flight.

Looking outside from BI 0066.

Everyone busy with their luggages.

Zhungyi was so excited from the beginning till the end.

Looking forward for Miri.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Flying with you is Captain Mckenzie....". The flight began.

I'll see you again in one month time, Perth.

The flight was not too bad. The stewardess and the stewards was good. Just that, the 'television' inside the airplane did not function properly. I paid that much but I didn't enjoy the facilities that they provided. I hope Royal Brunei Airline can improve that.

"Roasted chicken with mashed potato or fish with rice?"

Roasted chicken with mashed potato for me.

That was my lunch. It didn't turn out to be very nice but then, I finished everything due to the high level of hunger I had that time.

How big is the sky?

I couldn't do much thing on the plane. The television did not function properly and the songs kept on repeating. All I could do is to take out my camera and start snapping the photos of the sky.

How I wish I could do this...

Cloud boarding instead of snow or sand boarding.

After 5 hours, we reached Brunei International Airport. Before we landed, we were welcomed by the rainbow.

Rainbow.

When Zhungyi and I stepped out of the plane, we were like "WAHLAO! How come it's so hot here?". That's the first thing that came out from our mouth. Cold in Perth but hot and humid in Brunei. There's not much difference between the weather in Miri and Brunei. HOT! But what's better than home, right?:)

I'm going to enjoy my holidays at Miri for one month. I have to look for job for my industrial training end of the year. Anyone can help? Let me know through my email or leave a message at the 'chit chat corner'. THANKS.:)

Happy Belated Birthday to Me

FINALLY, I have finished my exam. It's so difficult and you can see everyone shaking their head when they came out of the exam hall. Anyway, as I have promised earlier, I would write a post about my birthday. I know, it's a bit late but, EXAMS! That's why I have to postpone this a bit late.

My 21st birthday started off with this Brumby's bread.

Baked today!

I was still preparing for my exam that day and I thought I would be nice to have an instant lunch instead of having to cook it myself.

Garlic with 'don't know what' bread.

It costed me Aud$2 (with guild member) and it is such a huge bread. I couldn't manage to finish it all. That's the difference between the bread in Malaysia and Australia. The bread maybe a bit more expensive but then, just look at the size and you will think it's worth your money.

Not cooking at night. So, I went to Northbridge (Chinatown in Perth) to have superb chinese meal with my fellow housemates (James, Chris and Henry) and Yan.

Malaysia Singapore China Town Restaurant.

Since we have not been to this restaurant before, we decided to give it a try.

What's Singapore delicacies?

It's my birthday. So, everyone kept asking me what I wanted to eat. I had no idea, but I suggested one of the dishes. The sweet and sour pork.

While waiting the dishes to be served...

Yan's approved photo.

Guessing my age?

Finally, here come the dishes. First one was 'ma po to fu'.

Some kind tofu with spicy gravy.

The second dish was fish with spring onions and mushrooms.

Little bit of fish, lots of spring onions.

The fish here are too expensive, so, that dish contains spring onions mostly.

The next dish, SWEET AND SOUR PORK!

One of my favourite dish which I like to order back in Malaysia.

Although it's good, I still prefer the one cooked by my mum. ;)

Another dish to come. Kangkung with belacan (shrimp paste).

Back in Malaysia?

This Kangkung, don't play play I tell you. Malaysia, you can get a whole bunch of this for RM1 or 2. But this dish costed us about Aud$9 here in Perth. This is actually the most expensive vege in the menu.

Four dishes altogether?

Actually there is another dish. The deep fried squid.

Yummy!

This dish might look simple, but it tastes good! Thumbs up for this.

Don't fight, don't fight. Enough food.

What a nice dinner we had. The bill came up to be Aud$58. Still consider reasonable. Now what?

Full moon today.

My birthday did not end like that. Here is the best part.

When we reached home, Chris actually brought this out.

A chocolate cake, fresh from the toilet fridge.

Wah, so touched! Chris bought a cake for me! He told me it was from the toilet.

How old am I?

So nice right? Chris, our goal for our next cake. Bake one better than this. :P

So happy. :)

Before everyone got back to study for their own exams, here is a group photo.

Power of 4.

Thanks a lot everyone for the wishes and for all the things you all have done for my birthday. This is definitely one of the best birthday I have ever had.

All from my friends.

Thanks a lot everyone. I will keep this memory forever in my mind:)

One Down, One More to Go

I just finished another paper today. Out of 4 questions, I only did 3. One question got blank answer from me. But the other 3, I don't know how correct I am. I have tried my best. Just give me a pass and I will be more than satisfied.

One more to go tomorrow and I'll have time to upload all the photos which I have taken. Tomorrow's paper is the hardest among all. Hopefully I can give my best shot and again, a pass will be good enough.

How Do I Communicate?

You Communicate With Your Body

This isn't as bad as it sounds, it just means that you're a "touchy-feely" person.
You need a lot of affection in your life. And for you, this means both giving and receiving little touches.
Warm hearted, you bond with people easily. In fact, you often feel a little sad when you're not in the company of others.
A little moody, you tend to be controlled by your emotions. But a bit hug always comforts you!

Body language ah?

3 More Days to Second Paper

3 more days to my second paper. I'm still scratching my head, trying to understand all the things which I am supposed to know. I have not felt so stress for such a long time and I can say, it's not a good feel. And I MEAN it. I just have to try my very to pass all the other exams. I'm still worried about the exam which I have sat earlier. I know I don't do well but can I pass the exam? Can I? I hope the answer would be ..."YES, OF COURSE YOU CAN!"

4 more days and I'll be free for one month. I'm looking forward for the day...

First Paper=Screwed Up

Current Mode=Stressed!

My first paper was bad. I'm too nervous I guess. Out of 3 questions which worth 50% of the total unit, I only have confident in one of the questions. And my confident for that question is just 70% correct. How how? I scare of this sign...

A big cross in my exam paper.

I MUST pass this unit. I don't want to re-take this unit again!!! :( *Sigh* I just have to forget about this paper and move on to the next two papers which are on next Tuesday and Wednesday.

I'm too tired for now. Too tired to study. I think I better go and take a nap before I start my revision again later in the afternoon.

First Paper

Tomorrow I'm going to have my first paper of the exams. Quite nervous. Anyway, I must pass the paper. Only one probability, which is just to pass. Have to do my final revision tonight. After tomorrow's exam, I'll be having two papers in two days. That'll be tough. Anyway, I hope I can still be alive after those exams. One more week to go. I know I can do it, and I hope all of you out there can do it as well. Till then...:)

21 Years Old

Today is my big day! Maybe someone out there would be curious what's this big day. Ok, it's the day where I have been living in this earth for 21 years. In short, my birthday.

Since most of us are having exams these days, including me, I'll just post a short birthday post of mine. After exam, I'm going to post what happen during my birthday.

Ok, actually 2 weeks ago, I received the first birthday wish. I'm sure no one would believe. She's someone I don't know. And she, too, doesn't know me. Just happen that, she got my Perth's home address, she sent me this.

What's in this big envelope?

"Who sent me this?" I'm too lazy to guess at that time, so, I just took a scissors and opened up the envelope.

Miss Candy Cow?

A welcome to Candy Cow's membership letter. It's from Candy Cow! A shop with all the candies and a cow as their icon. Still no idea?

Candy Cow (Margaret River).

Now, remember? I visited this shop two months ago when I was at Margaret River.

So, what else did Miss Candy Cow send me?

Certificate of Membership.

I'm officially a Candy Cow's 'Cow' now. It's so special, no? I only received membership card from the clubs which I have joined but not a certificate. And to be honest, I have not even bought anything from them. :P I join their members simply because it's FREE!

Not only did Miss Candy Cow send me those, she also sent me this.

Birthday card from Miss Candy Cow.

Nice right? I never expect such a shop would send me this. Most of the shops nowadays would take advantage of the new technology, the e-card, to send us a greeting.

This is not an ordinary birthday card...

Free Candy Cow FUDGE.

This card entitles me a 100grams of FREE Candy Cow Fudge.

This is what I called, BUSINESS. No doubt, I'm impressed with how the people here (Australia) do their business, not only Candy Cow. No matter you buy or not buy their products, they still treat everyone their customers. That's what I like.

Anyway, thanks Candy Cow for the card and the gift. :)

Candy Cow, I like.

P/S: I will post more about my birthday once my exams end.
